All-on-4® Implants

When you’re missing one or two teeth, it can be a daily struggle to enjoy a meal or talk on the phone, and you can forget about wanting to smile and laugh when you’re spending time with friends and family.

So, when you need to replace an entire upper or lower arch of teeth, those struggles can feel insurmountable, keeping you from enjoying the life you deserve.

Fortunately, with All-on-4® implants from Harmony Dentistry, those issues can be a thing of the past. This revolutionary technique supports a full arch of fixed prosthetic teeth and eliminates the need for an individual implant for each tooth.

Exploring the Benefits of All-on-4 Implants: What You Need to Know

With All-on-4 implants, your new and improved smile may be closer than you think! There are numerous benefits to this popular tooth replacement option, including the following:
Function and Stability
You won’t have to worry about your teeth shifting or slipping as traditional dentures can; you’ll be able to eat your favorite foods and speak without difficulty.
Jawbone Preservation
Dental implants stimulate your jawbone, keeping it from deteriorating. This keeps your face from sagging and helps you maintain your facial structure.
Strength and Permanence
Your All-on-4 implants are fixed in place, so you won’t have to worry about taking them out and cleaning them or using messy, goopy denture adhesives.
Improved Confidence
Once you achieve the natural-looking smile of your dreams, you’ll enjoy increased confidence and self-esteem. Imagine looking forward to smiling again!
Long-Term Durability
With proper care, your dental implants can last for decades or even a lifetime. All you have to do is brush and floss each day and visit our office for routine care.

Frequently Asked Questions

Dental implants are widely considered one of the most reliable options for tooth replacement. According to extensive clinical research, dental implants have an overall success rate of about 95% or higher when properly planned, placed, and maintained. This makes dental implants one of the most predictable long-term solutions for replacing missing teeth.

Success means more than just the implant staying in place. It also includes healthy surrounding bone and gums, proper function, and long-term comfort. When these factors are in place, dental implants can last decades or even a lifetime.

That said, success isn’t automatic. Several factors influence outcomes, including bone quality, oral hygiene, overall health, and lifestyle habits.

Tips to Improve the Chances of Implant Success

  • Choose an experienced dental provider who carefully evaluates bone health and placement.
  • Maintain excellent oral hygiene, including brushing, flossing, and regular dental visits.
  • Avoid smoking, which significantly increases the risk of implant failure.
  • Manage chronic health conditions, such as diabetes, with your physician and dentist.
  • Follow post-procedure instructions closely, especially during the healing phase.
  • Commit to routine checkups, so your dentist can monitor the implant and surrounding tissue.

How Does All-on-4 Restore Your Smile?

All-on-4 dental implants strategically place four titanium posts into your jawbone, allowing for maximum stability. And once these implants fuse with your jawbone, we’ll add a permanent, fixed denture to complete your smile.

Here’s what you can expect from the process:

  • Consultation and treatment plan — When you visit one of our two locations for a consultation, we’ll determine whether you’re a candidate for dental implants. To do this, we’ll take digital scans of your entire mouth and customize a treatment plan suited to your needs.
  • Mouth preparation — On the day of your procedure, we’ll completely numb your mouth before extracting any damaged teeth. If you don’t have sufficient bone density, we’ll perform a bone graft for additional support. And if you’re feeling anxious, we offer numerous types of dental sedation to keep you calm and comfortable.
  • Implant placement — Next, we’ll place two implants in the front of your mouth and two in the back of your mouth, giving you maximum stability. Then we’ll add abutments, or connector pieces, to hold a temporary denture.
  • Osseointegration — Over the next several months, your implants will fuse with your jawbone. This process, known as osseointegration, creates the permanent foundation for your new smile.
  • Final fitting — Once your mouth heals, we’ll replace your temporary denture with a custom, permanent set of prosthetic teeth.
